In July… I bought a new chest of drawers at Ikea. I made lots of felt balls for Katie Smith’s QR-3D project. I had my Gamesmaker interview at the University of Warwick - they gave us Olympic cake! I completed my first BIG crochet project. I spotted the John Barrowman of the reptile world at Belgrave Hall (eyes and teeth!).

My Instagram Year: April 2011
In April… I started the month still at the AAH conference at the University of Warwick. The weekend’s events included a visit to nearby Coventry and its mid-twentieth century cathedral. I modified a dress found in a charity shop. I wore it a lot this summer. I yarn-bombed The Crumblin’ Cookie. I went to a conference in Cambridge and discovered, in the Sedgwick Museum,...

My Instagram Year: March 2011
In March… I bought a Holga and the rest of the year became all about the lo-fi photography. I spotted the first blossom on the trees. I bought new shoes. Chairman Meow sent me some stickers (for correctly answering a question). I had an interview at the National Maritime Museum (but I didn’t get the job). Boo.
